Kyoto/Amanohashidate

You'll get train to Amanohashidate from Kyoto. But remember that there are two ways, one is through Fukuchiyama and another is through Nishi-Maizuru. The ticket charge is different each other.

This is Nishi-Maizuru, at this station you'll change train from JR (Japan Railway) to Kita-Kinki-Tango Railway.

This is Amanohashidate station

Chion-temple, near the station.

Many written oracles are hanged on a tree. The shape of oracles is very unique in this temple, these are miniatures of folding fan.

Gate of the temple

Chie-no-wa (ring of wisdom), near the temple. It is said that you may grow wise after you pass through the ring three times. But the fact is not so misterious; it was a mooring post.
